A unique, round, continuous-length, compressible foam material that helps ensure proper performance of the sealing system. It has an open cell structure that allows air flow to speed sealant drying and curing from both the top and bottom. Being hydrophobic, it will not wick water. Backer rod can be used with hot or cold applied sealant material.
