Description:
REC-TECH Color Coat is an attractive, non-fading color coating for asphalt and concrete sport surfaces. Formulated with 100% acrylic resins, it provides a durable, weather-resistant finish with beautiful color and uniform texture. This coating remains flexible and provides predictable ball bounce, a cooler, non-glare surface, and is easy to clean.

Directions:
Allow newly paved asphalt to cure for at least one month prior to applying REC-TECH Color Coat. Acrylic Resurfacer should first be applied to any uncoated asphalt.

Allow new concrete surfaces to cure for at least one month prior to applying REC-TECH Color Coat. Concrete surfaces should have a medium broom finish or roughened texture. Before using REC-TECH Color Coat, etch surface with muriatic or phosphoric acid and scrub concrete and rinse surface completely. Allow concrete to dry thoroughly. Apply a thin primer coat of REC-TECH Acrylic Primer. Allow to dry before applying coatings.

Pavement surface should be cleaned completely of dirt, loose stone, and vegetation before application. Stir material before use. Mix Color Coat according to directions and apply with a rubber squeegee.

Mixing Directions:
Color Coat -55 Gallons
Water - 28-33 Gallons
Silica Sand - 400 Lbs. (70-90 Mesh AFS)

Note:
Temperature must be at least 50ºF and rising during application and for at least 24 hours after application. Do not apply if rain is imminent or forecast for the next 24 hours.

Coverage:
Coverage is approximately .05 to .07 gallons per square yard, per coat. Coverage is based on undiluted gallons of Color Coat and will vary according to the porosity and texture of the surface.
